My professional experiences with print have included small window display, to large, billboard - sized display format. This includes mostly poster - sized prints, announcing political, educational, or musical happenings.

Often, print the medium is mostly visual, a "picture" that is coupled with minimal linguistic material. This is the case with many eminently successful, well-known ads whose only linguistic material is the exhortation to come "try this."

Sometimes, the visual is almost entirely removed and linguistic material is utilized. This method of typography as the main ingredient, can at times be the most effective design method.

When your goal is to raise awareness about a product or a service, advertising is not only a powerful medium for reaching mass audiences, but can be very specific to target exactly the markets you want. Mark Parker Designs can assist you in planning and implementing a creative ad campaign - one that will fit your individual needs -for electronic or print media.

I strive to develop one message to appeal to every reader. It is imperative to carefully predict a given audience and target it with the right message. In a display print, you are competing with the other displays for attention. I strive to make sure my layouts are the one's that are read. Successful uses of shock, humor, or just facts work - depending on the main selling point.
